On October 25th, AGA Health Foundation and Underground Mining Alliance (UMA), the biggest contractor company for AngloGold Ashanti Obuasi Mine, collaborated to bring breast and prostate cancer screening to the community at St. Thomas Cathedral Social Center. This impactful event saw to over 188 beneficiaries. The aim was to promote early detection and raise awareness for these prevalent cancers. The collaboration brought together healthcare professionals and community members, all united in the fight against cancer.

With each person screened, the initiative highlighted the power of accessible healthcare, empowering individuals with knowledge and resources to protect their health.
