BREAST AND PROSTATE CANCER
On October 25th, AGA Health Foundation and Underground Mining Alliance (UMA), the biggest contractor company for AngloGold Ashanti Obuasi Mine, collaborated to bring breast and prostate cancer screening to the community at St. Thomas Cathedral Social Center. This impactful event saw to over 188 beneficiaries. The aim was to promote early detection and raise awareness for these prevalent cancers.

MINI CLINICS
AngloGold Ashanti Obuasi Mine, as part of its 10-year SEDP, organizes quarterly mini clinics that takes healthcare to the doorsteps of its host communities. Together with Ghana Health Service, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation and local authorities, AGA Health Foundation and AngloGold Ashanti Obuasi Mine held a memorable durbar and mini clinic on Thursday, July 11th, 2024, at Obuasi Black Park.
