Mini Clinic
AngloGold Ashanti Obuasi Mine, as part of its 10-year SEDP, organizes quarterly mini clinics that takes healthcare to the doorsteps of its host communities. Together with Ghana Health Service, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation and local authorities, AGA Health Foundation and AngloGold Ashanti Obuasi Mine held a memorable durbar and mini clinic on Thursday, July 11th, 2024, at Obuasi Black Park.
A total of 3000 members from various communities even beyond the footprint of the mine benefited from the provision of free screening and healthcare delivery. Services rendered included:
- General Consultation
- BMI and Nutritional Counselling
- Comprehensive Laboratory Services
- Hepatitis Screening and vaccination
- Comprehensive Dental Care
- Comprehensive Eye Care
- Blood donation exercise
- Other general health checks
